【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesatestmethodtosimulatethechildimpactofachildpedestriantothebonnetofpassengervehiclesorsomelighttruckvehicles,asdefinedinISO3833.Thepurposeofthistestmethodistosimulatefrontalimpactofavehicle,laterallytoapedestrian.Theimpactdevicetobeusedinthistestmethodwillberobustforavehicleimpactvelocityofupto11m/s.Whilethetestmethodspecifiedaddressesthereductionofachildpedestrianheadinjuryrisk,itdoesnottestforinjuriestootherregionsofthepedestrian.Theevaluationofinjuryrisktootherpedestrianbodyregionsisdeterminedusingothertestmethods.Thistestmethoddoesnotconsiderdownwardpitchingofthevehicleduetopreimpactbraking.ThistestmethodandthecorrespondingHICmeasurementutilizeafreeflightheadformimpactor,anddoesnotconsiderthekinematicsofthepedestrianbodyasawhole,nordoesitconsiderthesubsequentpost-impactkinematicsandpotentialinjuryrisk.
