【摘要】:ThispartofISO15614specifieshowapreliminaryweldingprocedurespecificationforoverlayweldingisqualifiedbyweldingproceduretests.ThispartofISO15614definestheconditionsforcarryingoutweldingproceduretestsandtherangeofqualificationforweldingproceduresforallpracticalweldingoperationswithintherangeofvariableslistedinClause8.Additionaltestsmayberequiredbyapplicationstandards.ThispartofISO15614appliestoallweldingprocessessuitableforoverlaywelding.ThispartofISO15614isapplicabletoallnewweldingprocedures.However,itdoesnotinvalidatepreviousweldingproceduretestsmadetoformernationalstandardsorspecifications.Whereadditionaltestsarecarriedouttomakethequalificationtechnicallyequivalent,theyareonlydoneonatestpiecemadeinaccordancewiththispartofISO15614.ThispartofISO15614doesnotapplytooverlayweldingwherecracksareintentionallyproduced(e.g.specialhardfacingapplications).
