【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofsaltincrudeoils.Forthepurposeofthistestmethod,saltisexpressedas%(m/m)NaCl(sodiumchloride)andcoverstherangefrom0.0005to0.15%(m/m).Thelimitofdetectionis0.0002%(m/m)forsalt(asNaCl).Thetestmethodisapplicabletonearlyalloftheheavierpetroleumproducts,suchascrudeoils,residues,andfueloils.Itmayalsobeappliedtousedturbineoilandmarinedieselfueltoestimateseawatercontamination.Waterextractablesalts,originatingfromadditivespresentinoils,arecodetermined.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
